His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare the Second, Oba of Benin has appealed to members of the public to give the Federal Government enough time to implement its economic policies that will alleviate the hardship being experienced by Nigerians.

In a statement issued on the authority of His Royal Majesty, Ewuare the Second, Oba of Benin and signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Oba m, Osaigbovo Iguobaro, the Benin Monarch appealed to those planning the August First, Nationwide protest, to shelve their plans.

Oba Ewuare the Second also appealed to the Federal Government to intensify efforts in the implementation of its Economic and Security Policies, just as he expressed confidence that for things to get better, it has to be rough for a while.
