The Governor of Edo State, Mr Godwin Obaseki has directed a total revamp of the state’s vigilante security structure while directing that only vigilante groups trained at the Nigeria Police Force Training School, Benin City will function pending a re-accreditation of members of the security outfit. The briefing held at the state’s command and control centre is against the backdrop of an attack on Security agents in Edo North Senatorial District and alleged infiltration of the security outfit.
