Twenty-five suspects have been arrested in connection with last week’s cult clash in Owo, Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State, which claimed four lives.

Addressing newsmen on the development, the State Commissioner of Police, Wilfred Afolabi, said some of the suspects have been identified as directly involved in the criminal activities.

He noted that during the profiling of the suspects, several were discovered to have actively participated in the clash.

Afolabi further revealed that with the additional arrest of six suspects, a total of twenty-five individuals are now in custody in connection with the incident.

The police commissioner assured that other suspects still at large will soon be apprehended and made to face the full wrath of the law.

He also urged residents of the state to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities in their neighborhoods to the police and other security agencies.
