The North-West Caucus Of The House Of Representatives On Friday Condemned In Its Strongest Terms, The Planned Nationwide Protest Billed For August.
The Caucus Considered Any Nationwide Planned Protest As Ill-Conceived As This Would Further Aggravate The Already Sordid State Of The Nation. They Urged The People Of The North-West And Nigeria In General, To Dissociate Themselves From Acts Capable Of Destabilizing The Polity.
In His Address To The Media, Leader Of The Caucus, Honourable Sada Soli, Also Expressed Unreserved Gratitude To President Bola Tinubu’s Administration For Signing Into Law The North-West Development Commission (NWDC) Bill. Sada Noted That The Bill Was Birthed Out Of The Need To Revive The Socio-Economic Development Of The Area Ravaged By Years Of Banditry And Sundry Violent Attacks.
The Bill Was Sponsored By The Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibril.
