Benin City Literarily shut down on Tuesday for several hours as various interest groups came out in large numbers in solidarity with the candidate of the PDP in the September Twenty First Governorship Election Barr Asue Ighodalo and his deputy Barr. Osarodion Ogie.

The solidarity movement is to tell Edo people that Barr. Asue Ighodalo remains the flag bearer of the PDP contrary to rumours in some quarters of a court Judgement.

Wellington Akodeja reports that the PDP Governorship Candidate Barr. Ighodalo was also on the ground to address his supporters.
