President Bola Tinubu on Saturday visited Enugu State, the first official trip to the state since assuming office.

During the one-day presidential visit, President Tinubu inaugurated some projects embarked upon by the Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah-led administration.

Projects inaugurated were thirty smart green” schools, rural roads, and 150 patrol vehicles fitted with AI-embedded surveillance cameras.

Others were 30 completed and equipped Enugu Smart Green Schools out of the 260 under construction across the 260 wards in the state and 60 completed and equipped Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres out of the 260 under construction across the 260 wards in the state

President Tinubu also inaugurated the completed multi-auditorium and multi-functional Enugu International Conference Centre, 90 completed urban roads in Enugu City, a state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre as well as 150 patrol vehicles fitted with AI-embedded surveillance cameras.

The president was accompanied by top dignitaries including Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu and the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi.
