A Non governmental group, Civil Society Coalition in Edo State on Monday warned against acts of violence by some youths who claimed to be representing the interests of the Benin ethnic group following a recent protest at the Benin-Owena River Basin Development Authority.
The group called on the State Commissioner of Police, Betty Otimenyin to caution the protesters against the backdrop of their action in a bid to serve as deterrent to others in engaging ethnic chauvinism.
