Some Stalwarts of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who were arrested by men of the Nigeria Police Force for alleged involvement in the violence at the Benin Airport which led to the death of a police personnel on June 18, 2024 have insisted that they are innocent of the crime.

The stalwarts narrated their side of the story at a media briefing in Benin City.
