The Okaighele of Obagie, NoKenkporo, Azagba, and other communities have prevented land speculators and unsuspecting members of the public from building on ancestral land measuring 200 feet by 500 feet where about nine communities worship, known as Okhuahe Ni Ikpe.

They said the deity on the ancestral land belongs to His Royal Majesty, Ewuare II, Oba of Benin; hence, it cannot be sold by anyone.

Osemudiamen Osagie has details.
