Traffic on the busy Benin-Lagos Road by Nitel Junction was brought to a halt on Thursday as residents and indigenes of Evbomore, Idunmwunowina, Igue-Iheya, Iguosa and others blocked the road in protest over power outage in the communities spanning over eleven months.

The protesters threatened to be on the road until their demands are met.
