Following the recent heavy downpour which has been persistent for many days, some residents of Esemuede Street, off Siluko road in Egor local government area, Edo state, are counting their losses as their homes and m belongings have been washed away by flood.

Pius Nsogho reports that several houses were sacked while some residents swam through dirty water to get to their homes.
