Residents of Evbomore, Idunmwunowina, Igue-Iheya, Iguosa and environs on Friday blocked the Benin Lagos Highway for a second day to protest over power outage in the communities spanning over eleven months.

Idunmwunowina was brought to a halt,a development that forced local residents and to trek for hours.

Motorists were also stranded because of the protest.

In an interview on day one of the protest some of the residents threatened to be on the road until their demands are met.
