Residents of Eweka Street, off Benin-Auchi road, Benin City, have appealed to the Edo state government to come to their rescue as flooding in the area is on the verge of sacking few occupants in the area.

The appeal became necessary following the intensity of the flood that accompanied the downpour on Wednesday, which deprived many from gaining access to their homes.
