Some economic experts in Benin City have described the National Bureau of Statistics’ plan to integrate Nigeria’s $146 billion shadow economy into the country’s GDP as a strategic move.
They noted that this initiative would not only boost government revenue but also provide a safety net for workers in the affected sectors.
