A cross-section of the public in Benin City on Friday asked the State Police Command and other security agencies to tackle the ugly incidence of recurring violence by political party thugs and supporters, who invaded the premises of the Edo State election petition tribunal, which led to the shooting and maiming of innocent citizens who are there to observe proceedings.
Pius Nsogho reports that the respondents are wondering why no action has been taken against the hoodlums to deter others with cynical motives at the tribunal.
