Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday visited US President Donald Trump for a mineral deal meeting in the US.
There was a heated exchange as US President Donald Trump’s Oval Office meeting with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky devolved into a shouting match.
The US president said Ukraine’s leader must make a deal or the US will quit during an angry exchange about the nature of US support and whether Zelensky had demonstrated enough gratitude.
He informed Ukraine’s president to return once he is ready for a deal. The Ukrainian leader had hoped to appeal for continued security assistance from the US.
