The Acting Odionwere of Ugbowo community, Pa Andrew Ifaluyi Ekue, along with elders and youths, has called on developers to stop work on land behind UBTH, citing a restraining order from a competent court.
The order directs all contending parties to halt activities pending the resolution of a suit between the community and six others, including the Federal Ministry of Land, Housing, and Urban Development.
Efosa Uwangue reports that the community held a peaceful protest to sensitize developers and highlight the legal implications of their actions.
