The Anambra State Government has demolished a Hotel which turned out to be hideout used by kidnappers in its efforts to rid criminal activities out of the South-Eastern state.
The hotel is located along the Onitsha-Owerri Road in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area of the state.
The government identified the building as Udoka Golden Point Hotel and Suites, also referred to as “La Cruise Hotel.”
It noted that the hotel has over 30 well-partitioned graves.

Authorities revealed that the hotel had been used as a den for kidnappers and other criminal elements.
The operation also led to the recovery of blood-stained items and live cartridges, which have been handed over to law enforcement authorities at the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) office in Awkuzu.
