A group of women in Kaduna has strengthened advocacy for a complete overhaul of the processes for prosecuting suspects and laws against gender-based violence, as well as the initiation and enforcement of strict sanctions for perpetrators of such crimes, especially those against women and children.
Correspondent Nma Mohammed reports that the women, during a procession, emphasized that such penalties would serve as a deterrent to others engaged in these vices.
