The Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal, has approved the immediate remodelling and renovation of the Yeriman Bakura Specialist Hospital.
According to a statement on Tuesday, by the governor’s spokesperson, Sulaiman Idris, the development became necessary to meet the challenges of the growing need for tertiary medical services in the state.
Idris noted that Lawal approved the hospital’s renovation during the state’s 19th Executive Council meeting at the Government House, Gusau, noting further that the remodelling is expected to restore the facility to a modern and more functional healthcare centre.
